NEW timber door solutions for Pyroguard Protect EI30
Having successfully tested two of our largest timber profiles to date, we can now provide you with a new range of tested timber door solutions that meet an EI30 fire rating with Pyroguard Protect.
This recent success forms part of our continued developments to push boundaries and increase test sizes for timber applications providing even more fire safe solutions.
In collaboration with the German Timber Association ‘TSH’, the range covers the following scope:
Test 1: GDC doors
- Construction type: Double GDC door (56 mm thick)
- Fire Rating: EI30
- Specimen: 3876 x 5000 mm (2677 x 2761 mm free passage)
- Glass type: Pyroguard T-EI30/18-2 (largest pane sizes: 2630 x 934 mm; 934 x 2755 mm)
- Frame: Glue laminated timber frame and partition
Test 2: Joinery doors
- Construction type: Unequal double joinery door (75 mm thick)
- Fire Rating: EI30
- Specimen: 5000 x 5000 mm (2800 x 3151 mm free passage)
- Glass type: Pyroguard T-EI30/18-2 (largest pane sizes: 1246 x 2839 mm; 940 x 3150 mm; 2790 x 882 mm)
- Frame: Glue laminated timber frame and partition
