Screens and partitions
Pyroguard Infinity is the perfect product for creating fire resistant internal partitions.
Designed for butt-joint installations in steel or timber, our glass eliminates the need for vertical frame profiles, providing visually appealing seamless partitions between rooms and corridors that create an open and airy atmosphere.
In addition to providing aesthetically pleasing passive fire protection, Pyroguard Infinity has an EI Classification (Integrity and Insulation) meaning that it provides optimal light transmission together with the highest possible levels of protection against smoke, fire and heat transfer. Pyroguard Infinity also provides excellent acoustic control, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature and most importantly, has been impact tested in line with impact classification EN 12600:2002 – 1B1.
As sustainability continues to be one of the key forces influencing both the interior and exterior design of buildings, it is important to select materials that can support LEED and BREEAM accreditations. Our entire range of toughened monolithic and laminated glass products has an independently BRE verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) detailing the lifecycle analysis of the product.
Anti-Attack
Attackguard, our range of anti-attack security glass is tested to EN 356 standard and achieves P1A to P8B ratings to offer the highest level of manual attack protection.
It is suitable for doors or glazed screens in a range of applications. Attackguard can be used as attack resistant glazing or used as a counterpane in combination with our fire safety glazing.
This means that you can save time and reduce complexity with a single source of supply for both attack and fire safety glazing. Attackguard can also be engineered to meet the specific requirements of your project depending on the attack threat that needs to be addressed.
Available in thicknesses up to 19mm, making it the ideal choice for premises where added protection and security is a primary concern. The glass is also fully UV stable, with no additional protection required for external applications, to help ensure longevity and provide peace of mind throughout the lifespan of the glazing.
Curtain Walling, Façades & Atria
Offered in some of the largest tested sizes on the market, our toughened fire safety glass is perfect for use in large uninterrupted areas, such as curtain walling, façade applications and atria.
When used in such applications, our fire safety glass can also be installed alongside other specialist glass counterpanes to achieve a multi-functional system. For example, you can combine our solutions with counterpanes that improve solar control, thermal insulation or acoustics, without compromising on fire performance.
Complementing modern architectural ambitions, the inclusion of large areas of toughened glazing within projects helps to safely incorporate natural light into buildings, something which is critical in renovation projects where buildings are being transformed from their original purpose. In practice, this sees spaces flooded with natural light, elevating levels of light transmission throughout a building and having a positive impact on occupants’ wellbeing – crucial in delivering functional and inspiring workspaces.

Doors
At Pyroguard, we manufacture and supply a wide range of tested and certified fire safety glass products suitable for use in both internal and external door applications. We work with you to ensure that the glass you choose meets the correct fire performance for the chosen system solution – be it in steel, aluminium or timber.
When it comes to retrofitting doorsets, to either replace existing fire safety glass or to upgrade from standard glazing, our fire safety glass is the ideal solution.
Did you know that it is essential to ensure that the door system and all of its components as a whole have the necessary test evidence to support the replacement?
At Pyroguard, we hold the most extensive library of test evidence, a wealth of industry knowledge and work closely with market leading door manufacturers and framing partners to continually improve our product performance.
All products across our range of fire safety glass are rigorously and independently tested on a global scale by accredited third-party testing facilities. Our products conform to all of the relevant fire safety standards including BS 476: Part 22:1987 and BS EN 1363-1. They are also fully UV stable, certified by Certifire and carry the CE mark.
Choosing to use our high-performance glass provides you with the ultimate peace of mind.
Smoke Control
Our glass smoke control solution, Smokeguard, provides a cost effective, zero maintenance alternative to mechanical smoke curtains. In the event of a fire, this system is designed to successfully direct smoke and keep toxic fumes at bay long enough to allow members of the public to exit the building safely, minimising the risk of smoke inhalation, injury and death.
This range has a monolithic composition, meaning that the structural integrity of the product ensures it can be handled and installed in the most challenging of applications and sites with minimal risk of breakage.
The narrow stainless-steel brackets and slim glass profile offer minimal visual impact, ideal for where these crucial safety features need to blend in with the interior design of a building. There are options for screen printing, acid etching and special shapes and cut-outs to complement an interior’s aesthetic.
Smokeguard is available in larger sizes, fully UV stable and engineered to meet your specific project requirements – it can also be supplied as a ‘system kit’ for simple, quick installation.
Structural Walls
Our toughened range of fire safety glass can be used in structural wall assemblies to create fire resistant passageways. Safe and clear fire escape routes not only save lives, but also ensure fires are contained protecting the building and preventing the spread of fire. As well as allowing light to flow through a space, glass walls can also make the building easier and safer to navigate, while still ensuring a safe and swift evacuation in the event of a fire.
Our structural wall solutions can provide protection from fire for up to 180 minutes, with our EW and EI classification products providing resistance to flames, smoke and dangerous radiant heat transfer.
Wherever fire safety glass is used in a structural wall construction, it is important to look carefully at the test data to ensure its performance against all criteria. We pride our self on the service we provide to customers and can offer bespoke, made to measure glass solutions to meet the exact needs of your building. Our technical sales team are always on hand to provide the product and project support you require, too.
Windows
Whether it’s a modern or traditional design, or whatever size or style you have in mind for your building, our fire safety glass can be used in an extensive range of window system applications. In fact, our fire safety glass solutions can also be specified alongside any other chosen specialist glass counterpane to deliver a particular finish or numerous additional benefits, without compromising on fire performance.
For example, these counterpanes can be used to improve solar control, thermal insulation, sound transmission, safety and privacy – to name just a few! As an independent supplier, we have fire test evidence for our products used alongside various counterpane arrangements, meaning that you have the widest choice of bespoke glazing options to choose from.
Our products can also be used to replace existing glass, but when retrofitting it into systems you need to ensure that the frame is suitable and that the whole system will deliver the required performance in the event of a fire. Any replacement must be supported by test evidence that demonstrates how the glass, frame and other components will work as one unit. We have an extensive database of test evidence and our technical sales team is always on hand to help you make the right choice – every time.
