New EI30 steel partitions with Pyroguard and Forster Fuego Light
We’re thrilled to share the latest results from our recent test program with Forster profile systems; expanding our portfolio of fire safe solutions for EI30 steel partitions.
In collaboration with DMT, the updated classification now allows the following scope:
Construction type: Partition walls
Glass types: Pyroguard Protect T-EI30/18-2 / Pyroguard Protect T-EI30/21-2 / Pyroguard Protect T-EI30/32-2 SWS (butt-joint) / Pyroguard Infinity with 45° and 90° angle joints
Frame: Forster Fuego Light EI30 (non-load bearing walls)
Support structure: Plasterboard walls both standard partitions and butt-joint designs
This successful new development opens up a range of possibilities, significantly expanding the options for glazing sizes (up to 9.2 m²) and partition heights (over 5 m). These enhancements offer greater flexibility and design freedom, whether you’re working on large-scale projects or custom partitions. Additionally, a broader range of counterpanes are now approved for VF, VI and TVI glass – including coated, printed and frosted solutions – along with counterpanes up to P4A. The approval of multiple Forster Fuego Light profiles by DMT also means improved system compatibility with fewer limitations, providing even more versatility for your designs.
