Pyroguard and Jansen expand portfolio with Pyroguard Protect EI90
We’ve recently gained new test evidence with Pyroguard Protect and Jansen Janisol steel systems to provide new solutions for doors and partitions.
Two tests were carried out at the Applus laboratory in Spain, one for steel doors and one for steel partitions. Each test featured Pyroguard Protect T-EI90/40-3 in the Jansen Janisol C4 profile system with the following characteristics:
Test 1: Partitions
- Specimen dimensions: 2960 x 2950 mm
- Framing system: Jansen Janisol C4
- Fire direction: Beads to fire
- Glazing: Largest T-EI90/40-3 pane 1400 x 2840 mm
Test 2: Single door with side and top light
- Specimen dimensions: 2960 x 3360 mm
- Framing system: Jansen Janisol C4
- Fire direction: Beads to fire
- Clear opening: 1340 mm
Both tests surpassed the target requirements gaining approval for 1540 mm x 3124 mm (≤4.41 m²) . This recent success means we now have a wider range of applications available in the Jansen Janisol C4 profile system for steel partitions and doors.
