Pyroguard achieves new success with first 45° Structural Wall System butt-joint

As part of our continued collaboration with Forster Profile Systems, we’ve successfully tested Pyroguard Infinity in a full scale Forster Fuego Lite EI30 frame with a 45° butt-jointed angle.

45 degree structural wall system butt-joint

Authorised and approved by the CERIB Laboratory, France, the range covers the following scope:

Construction type: Partition walls

Specimen size: 3530 x 4000 mm

Fire ratings: EI30

Glass types: Pyroguard T-EI30/32-2 SWS (largest approved pane size: 1800 x 4000 mm (max area 6.17 m2))

Frame: Forster Fuego Lite EI30

After comfortably meeting the test requirements, subsequent approvals will allow us to cover angles between 45° and 90° for structural wall systems, meaning desirable aesthetics can be combined with superior fire performance, providing greater flexibility for partition walls.
