Pyroguard achieves EW30 fire-rating with P4A anti-attack glazing in Jansen Economy 50 doors

We’re delighted to share the successful fire testing of Pyroguard Protect T-EW30/13-1 VF glass within the Jansen Economy 50 steel door system, delivering a fully approved solution that combines fire protection and attack resistance in one system.

onducted at Warringtonfire UK, the test covered the following scope:

  • Construction type: Doors
  • Glass types: Pyroguard Protect T-EW30/13-1 VF (P1A – P4A)
  • Frame: Jansen Economy 50 steel door system
  • Support structure: Plasterboard walls

This development directly addresses increasing market demand for multi-functional door systems that meet both EW30 fire performance and anti-attack resistance, in accordance with European Standard EN 356.

The result is a fully compliant, high-performance solution that enhances safety and security with proven, tested performance.
