We’re excited to share a new range of high-performance timber doorsets developed by Wood International Agency Ltd (WIA) , featuring Pyroguard fire safety glazing.
This latest test programme combines the exceptional fire protection of Pyroguard Advance with WIA’s versatile, multi-aperture front entrance doorset designs — delivering the ideal balance of safety, compliance, and design flexibility for 30 minutes fire resistance.
- Construction type: Soloman 44 Single Doors (tested in both directions)
- Glass types: Pyroguard Advance 2-EW30/8-1 VI, including satin options
- Frame: Framebreak PI450 engineered softwood from Wood International Agency Ltd for 30 minute fire resistance
- Support structure: Blockwork
- Glass counterpane options: satin, clear, P1A, acoustic
The test programme covered multiple variants and a variety of apertures, letterboxes and a range of hardware configurations. By testing in both directions, WIA and Pyroguard have ensured full conformity and confidence in performance across all applications.
