New multi-functional doorsets with Pyroguard Advance and WIA
We’re excited to share a new range of fully certified, high-performance timber doorsets developed by Wood International Agency Ltd (WIA) , featuring Pyroguard fire safety glazing.
This latest test programme combines the exceptional fire protection of Pyroguard Advance with WIA’s versatile, multi-aperture door designs — delivering the ideal balance of safety, compliance, and design flexibility for both 30- and 60-minute fire ratings.
- Construction type: WIA Therman single doors (tested in both directions)
- Glass types: Pyroguard Advance 2-EW30/8-1 VI, 2-EW30/11-2 VI, 2-EW60/11-2 VI (P1A) , including satin options
- Frame: WIA’ glue-laminated pine timber (30-minute fire ratings) and eucalyptus timber (60-minute fire ratings)
- Support structure: Blockwork
- Glass counterpane options: satin, clear, P1A, acoustic
The test programme covered multiple variants and a variety of apertures, letterboxes and a range of hardware configurations. By testing in both fire directions, WIA and Pyroguard have ensured full conformity with certification standards and confidence in performance across all applications.
