Certified fire safety with Pyroguard Protect and Secco Sistemi
We’re delighted to share the latest results from our collaboration with Secco Sistemi, with Pyroguard fire safety glass now successfully tested in the XT AF60 steel door and partition system – delivering certified fire performance in a slim, elegant design.
The tests, conducted in accredited European laboratories covered the following scope:
- Construction type: Doors & partitions
- Glass types: Pyroguard Protect T-EI60 and T-EI30 IGU
- Frame: Secco Sistemi XT AF60 steel framing system
- Application: XT EI60 for Interior partition and doors / XT EI30 for fixed partitions* (new development coming soon)
The programme confirmed performance across multiple configurations, including both single and double glazing, as well as a range of supporting constructions.
With this successful testing, Pyroguard Protect fire safety glass in the XT AF60 profile is now eligible for European approvals, giving you confidence in compliance while offering greater design flexibility. This means you can combine the trusted fire protection and performance of Pyroguard Protect with the contemporary, high-end aesthetic of the Secco Sistemi XT AF60 system.
The slim framing maximises natural light and maintains clean architectural lines, making this solution particularly well suited to premium residential and commercial projects where both fire safety and design quality are essential.
