Pyroguard Customers Benefit From Manufacturing Investments
Pyroguard is pleased to announce the completion of a >£1m investment programme into its manufacturing facilities in Haydock, UK and Seingbouse, France. This investment has included new resin mixing equipment and a semi-automated racking system at the UK site and delivers further improvements to the company’s cuttable fire glass products in terms of improved processability, tighter thickness tolerances and improved optical performance.
The more consistent thickness means that glazing beads can be pre-machined without concerns over glass rattle (when the glass is thin), or difficulty in fitting beads (when the glass is too thick).
Steve Goodburn, Sales Director, comments: “Pyroguard is already recognised as the easiest laminated fire glass to cut and process. Now, more control over our glass thickness gives further reassurance of the optical quality when selling the glass on to the end user.”
The Pyroguard range is the most flexible laminated fire glass:
The 7mm products cut like standard laminated and can be cut by hand
Edge taping not required
UV stable (no bubbles)
Improved optical performance
EW30 Impact is the only 7mm cut-able UV stable fire glass with 2B2 soft body impact rating.
Pyroguard is available through an extensive stockist network, providing coverage throughout the UK and Ireland. For more information, please contact us.
