Pyroguard targets business growth with new appointments

Independent fire glass specialist, Pyroguard, is excited to announce the appointment of three new team members as the business continues to strengthen its presence in the UK and Ireland fire glass markets.

Mikey-ShoerJoining the team as Technical Sales Manager for Ireland, Michael Shoer will work with specifiers and contractors on major projects and provide support to distribution partners, utilising more than 14 years gained in the commercial glazing industry.

Having started out on the factory floor as a breakout cutter and progressed through several divisions to take a role within wholesale and fire glass in a large glass processor, Michael is passionate about the industry and already worked with Pyroguard in his previous role, developing an excellent knowledge of the company’s industry-leading solutions.

“My previous roles have helped me to accumulate vast experience in the industry and develop a diverse technical knowledge,” said Michael. “It’s this which will stand me in good stead when working with clients to identify the perfect solutions to the challenges they face in creating modern buildings which never compromise on safety.”

Greater expertise

Also joining the team are George Kenny and Dan Denton who, as Key Account Managers, will work closely with Pyroguard’s established UK network of glass processing partners to actively promote the company’s fire-glass solutions to the wider UK timber market.

With a strong technical knowledge gained in the security and fire business, George (pictured right) joins the team as Key Account Manager North, while Dan (pictured left) – who is a retained firefighter – boasts a background in the builder’s merchant and timber arenas and joins the team as Key Account Manager South.
