CGI Group is an independent producer of fire resistant glass for the building industry. The major shareholder in the CGI Group is Dunedin LLP, a private equity investor.
The CGI Group manufacture a range of fire glass products, which are branded under the names of Pyroguard and Pyroguard T and are designed to meet regulatory requirements internationally. The products are tested to European and national standards as required depending on the final building application.
The company focuses its research and development on the improvement and the extension of the Pyroguard range and Pyroguard T range of products. A major benefit in this regard is that the Group has its own fire testing laboratory.
Production facilities are located in Haydock, near Liverpool in the UK and in Seingbouse, near Forbach in the east of France. The CGI group has direct sales teams in the UK, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia. The national sales teams are assisted by a technical team, which operates across Europe.
